Episode 5: Sarah Emilie interviews Martin Saint! Martin Saint is the lead-singer and second guitar player of Montreal's The Ember Glows. He recently co-formed the electronica/indie act Portmanteau, while also pursuing his own solo project since 2019. His overall solo sound shows hints of Bowie, Nick Cave, The Doors, Leonard Cohen, Echo & the Bunnymen, with special emphasis on words and atmosphere. In the meantime he pursues part-time projects such as some spoken word and collaborating with other musicians. In 2018, he toured Europe as a member of Johnny Couteau's band. His past projects include fronting Montreal band City Lake.
